However, without system access, we are limited in the services that we can provide students and employees. See details below.

Admissions and Recruitment
What is the status of my application?
With our systems offline, we are unable to check the status of applications or process new applications. Once systems are restored, we will notify all applicants that they can now check the status of their applications through their Future Student Portal.
I received an offer. Can I pay my deposit?
Once our systems are restored, applicants will be able to pay tuition deposits. Until then, all offers will remain intact.
I missed my tuition payment deadline. What should I do?
Once our systems are restored, we will notify all applicants who have not yet accepted their admission offers. Tuition payment deadlines will be adjusted to allow applicants the opportunity to accept offers.
What if I am waiting to receive information on my transfer credit evaluation?
Transfer credit evaluations of detailed course outlines (DCO) still in progress will continue to be evaluated. Decisions will be delivered to applicants once faculty have had the opportunity to complete the evaluation.
I haven't applied, but I want to. When can I apply?
Once our systems are operational, you will be able to apply on ApplyAlberta.ca. We want to reassure you that these technical issues will not disadvantage applicants, and every file will receive an equitable evaluation.
Student Records
How can I access my grades or transcripts?
With our systems offline, students are unable to log in to their MyMRU to check grades or access unofficial transcripts.
Students can view final grades for active courses in D2L. At this time, Spring 2026 grades will not be reflected in mruGradU8, on transcripts or in GPA calculations.
Can I request official documents or request status updates on formerly submitted document requests?
We are currently unable to generate official documents such as transcripts, confirmation letters, or official or display parchments. We are also unable to access the record of requests or provide status updates at this time.
I can’t order my transcript online due to the system outage. Is there an alternative way to access my transcripts?
We are currently unable to access any student record information or produce documents containing student record information, including transcripts. This means that we are not able to produce any type of official or unofficial transcript through any method.
I have a formal document submission deadline to another party, such as a government organization, employer, or educational or financial institution. What should I do?
If your deadline to submit your document(s) is within two business days, and you do not have any other document options, please email your request to studentrecords@mtroyal.ca with the words “Time Sensitive” in the subject line. We continue to be unable to access student record information or produce documents containing student record information, including transcripts, but we may be able to provide a general letter indicating that we are unable to fulfill your request.
If my transcript order has not been fulfilled, will I be refunded?
We are currently unable to access our system to modify orders or process refunds. Once our system access is restored, please reach out to inquire about modifying your order, refund eligibility and next steps.
Can you confirm or adjust some of my personal information, such as mailing address, name, grades, course registration, program or other?
We are currently unable to verify or adjust student record information.

How can I get a confirmation of the enrolment letter?
At this time, we are unable to upload/update confirmations of enrolment to MyCreds while our systems are down. If you requested your document on or before June 15, this is still available and you can access your document by logging in with your email address.
When will I know if I have an award?
Award selections started in April. Due to the outage, we are unable to access our award system and will resume award selections when our systems are restored.
How do I obtain a record of my award history at MRU?
Currently we have a system-wide outage. Email awards@mtroyal.ca and we will get back to you when our systems are restored.
If I have an external cheque, what should I do?
