How can I access my grades or transcripts?
Students can reference the campus-wide communication (sent on July 24) regarding instructions to reset their Mount Royal password, which will allow them to regain access to their MyMRU account. Once in their MyMRU account, students can view their unofficial transcript and degree audit (mruGradU8) to see final grades. As we process registration and grade updates that occurred during the outage, we anticipate that all student registration and grade information will be up to date by July 31.
I took a course in Spring 2026, but my grade is missing or inaccurate.
When our student information system was restored in late July, the Student Records department took steps to record and restore Spring 2026 final grades. Most of this work was completed on July 31. If your grade is still missing or inaccurate, please reach out to your instructor to follow up.
Can I request official documents or request status updates on formerly submitted document requests?
Students can now submit transcript requests once again through their MyMRU account. As of July 31, we have been able to resume issuing digital official transcripts through MyCreds and most other official student record-related documents. At this time, paper transcript processing remains halted — we encourage students and alumni who require a transcript to order a digital transcript.
I have a time sensitive formal document submission deadline to another party, such as a government organization, employer, or educational or financial institution, and my document order has not been processed yet. What should I do?
If your deadline to submit your document(s) is within 3 business days, and you do not have any other document options, please email your request to studentrecords@mtroyal.ca with the words “Time Sensitive” in the subject line. We can check the status of your original request and determine how we can best support you.
If my transcript order was not fulfilled, will I be refunded?
Our typical turnaround time for issuing transcripts is 1 to 2 business days, so we anticipate that transcript orders placed prior to June 15 were fulfilled. However, if you submitted and paid for a transcript order prior to the outage that was not fulfilled, and you no longer require the transcript, please email us with proof of your request and proof of payment to request a refund. We will review the status of your transcript order and confirm whether it is eligible for a refund.
Can you confirm or adjust some of my personal information, such as mailing address, name, grades, course registration, program or other?
Yes, we are now able to resume making updates on your student account.
When will my application to graduate be processed?
As we are currently prioritizing time-sensitive tasks, we aim to resume processing of graduation applications by mid-August. If your application to graduate is time sensitive, please email your request to studentrecords@mtroyal.ca with the words “Time Sensitive” in the subject line.
